Salon 297 Hair & Day Spa

I just recently went to salon 297 for the first time. It’s a big, beautiful salon/spa and the stylists are super friendly, so I was super excited! I met with my stylist, showed her a pic to show what I was wanting. Dark purple roots going into lighter purple ombré. My hair is a little darker to begin with so to get what I wanted, it had to be lightened and THEN colored. I understood that, and we did the whole process, washed/dried and styled it, looked great! Was very pleased when I left.. However, when I Wash/dried my hair myself at home…over 24 hrs AFTER my appointment, it’s almost as if most of the color washed right out. It now looks faded and I feel as if she may of kept the color in my hair instead of washing it out all the way, to maybe make it seem brighter at the moment while I was still at the salon. ????????‍♀️ I paid $164 and it looks like I got it done like a month ago or something, it was literally 3 days ago! Jessica did a fantastic job doing a dry cut on my naturally curly hair, and making me feel comfortable during the process. She's super talented and friendly.

I absolutely loved the place and the atmosphere; it was very relaxing. I will definitely be going back. Prices are between reasonable and pricey, but you get what you pay for. The reason for 4 stars not 5, my hairdresser misunderstood me when I said I wanted 2 inches off, I meant off the bottom, not 2" layers. She was a little hard to understand, too, but we got it taken care of and I do love what she did with my hair.
