Design 1 Salon Spa Grandville

March 21, 2023 Went in to have my hair shaped and textured with Jordyn at the Grandville location, left with hardly any hair left!! Had to go back in before I left the parking lot so they could cut all the hairs hanging over my ears and neck that got missed! Went home and still had to cut hairs that got missed, and shave my hair on my neck that got missed!! Had to go back a couple days later as another stylist attempted to fix the mess of a haircut that I had. So I paid them for butchering my hair and to make up for the mess they gave me a whopping $10 gift card. Wow that does not make up for my $50 butcher job! One month later I went to a mature long time hair stylist to have her fix the mess so it would grow back better and get some sort of style. She said it was the worst haircut she had ever seen. Abby Faborowski on Wilson in Grandville is AMAZING!! Roxie did my initial cut in Cascade. However, Abbie has done all the upkeep and alterations I wanted for my cut. I honestly just wanted a closer stylist. I took a chance and couldn't be happier. I'm about to grow out my disconnected top starting next month and I'll for sure trust Abby to maintain my grow-out. She recommended great products for my short style. I've never been a fan of the salon products prices, but i can not deny the results are better. I can't wait to see what she has in store for my seasonal grow-out. I see highlights in my future. Design 1 has never disappointed ????????????

Did not post on the site that the price that comes up is only for the service and that they charge you for all the bleach, toner, and every product they put in your hair. I asked for a neutral/cooler tone blonde with money pieces and instead I got a warm/brassy blonde all over. The staff was friendly but for having to pay almost 300 dollars when I was told on the website I was paying 100 and not even getting the results I was hoping for I am very unsatisfied.
