Sharmell's Hair Salon

I had an horrible experience with a stylist there. I called the shop and asked if anyone ther do 27 piece quick weaves, and this stylist stayed she did. I believe her name was Sharon. She had an off-putting attitude toward me throughout the entire 5+ hours I endured. She told me while she was washing my hair she didn't like doing 27 piece hairstyle due to the length of time it took. I asked if she used glue protection and she said no. That was two red flags, however I decided to stay, which wad a huge mistake on my part. I showed her a picture and asked she keep my sides full and my back longer as well. Instead she took shears and shaved my sides down to the quick and proceeded to put a large amount of spritz on my hairstyles, despite me asking her to use minimum spritz. She then proceeded to give me pencil curls on my sides. She then cut the back of the hair short instead of leaving it long as I asked. To further add insult to injury she kept saying i was moving to much in the chair

I researched this salon on FB. I had been looking for a salon after relocating in the area. It had great reviews so I decided to call and make an appointment. I called on a Friday and Sharon answered the call. ( i didn’t know that she was the owner until my services were completed) She was pleasant from the start, asked how soon I wanted my appt. I said right away. She scheduled me for the next morning. Upon arriving to the shop she greeted me warmly. She asked what services I wanted and I told her a wash, cut, and style. The wait wasn’t long and her assistant Erica, washed my hair ( that felt do good) I was put under the dryer then proceeded to Sharon who then blow dried, cut, and styled my hair. Wow! I was soooo pleased. I came in a ugly duckling ???? and left as a beautiful swan????. The vibe of the shop was upbeat and friendly. It was a positive experience all around, and I will be back! I think I’ve found my salon. Thank you Sharon and Erica! I’ve received many compliments ????

As a client for 25+ years, Sharon has kept my hair healthy and flawlessly layered. I feel so confident in her work l never tell her what I want or look at a mirror when she finishes because I know my hair is always beautiful.
