I was there on 8/14/23 and I was booked with Katie. I made my appointment online and I’d never seen this stylist before. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and ended up with leaving with my hair chopped off way too short and going home crying. I’m too nice and awkward and actually left her a tip…what’s wrong with me? This is why I didn’t have my haircut in a year and I’m too scared to go and get it done when it finally grows back out. This girl should not be able to charge $50 for a haircut when she doesn’t know what she’s doing. I would suggest no one go to this person especially if you’ve got thick hair. Edit: I came back to this salon at the request of the salon owner 2 weeks after the incident and he was very sympathetic. He understood how upset I was. He offered to fix the hairstyle for me and even though I was hesitant I had him do it. He made the style look as good as it could and made me very comfortable while I was getting my haircut. Kristen is THEEEEE BEST!!! She truly listens to what I would like for my hair and even makes suggestions based on her expertise, ones that I wouldn't think of and they completely transform the whole look for the better. (ex: she suggested face framing layers in addition to my curtain bangs to blend them in better). Her customer service is 10/10, she is calm, kind, and a great listener when it comes to my hair. I was nervous to try someone new but Kristen made sure I was comfortable and made the experience a great one. Thank you Kristen!
Kristen has been doing my hair for so many years, although I don’t upkeep as often as I should being a busy mom, she always knows how to bring my hair back to life! I love that she constantly stays up to date with trends and makes me look and feel my best! I highly recommend her not only that she’s so talented but because she’s the sweetest!
