I just want to start off by saying I have been to various different salons, different hairstylists in the Metro Detroit Area, and no one compares to Ella or Artiste salon! Within only one appointment for myself, and for my mom, we have found our go-to hair girl (Ella)! Ella takes her time, pays attention to detail, and listened to exactly the kind of style my mom and I wanted. My mom has been suffering with alopecia for nearly 10+ years, so her hair is extremely thin, filled with bald spots, and there is not much hair to work with, even if adding extensions. Ella was able to make my mom's hair look BETTER than it was pre-alopecia. We couldn't believe it. This salon is also super professional, staff members are super sweet and friendly, and on time with appointments. I can't wait to come back for my next event! Recently I traveled to Northville for a family wedding. I booked this salon based on the many positive google reviews and their beautiful aesthetic on social media. We could not have asked for a better experience. From booking our appointment (four months in advance) to the day of styling, the process was seamless. The beauticians were professional, talented, and creative. They were up-to-date on the latest trends and procedures. To top it off, they were kind, patient, and respectful, especially the employee who worked the front desk. My sister and my grandmother had beautiful updos by Rachel, while my mother and I had our hair styled by Ella. My grandmother can be very indecisive and switched her services two or three times leading up to the event (including the day of) and Rachel never made her feel rushed. A cousin of mine referred me to Ella for highlights and she was not wrong with her recommendation. She did an amazing job on my hair in very little time being as blonde I am. She is very talented and has a great eye for color. She listened to my hair goals and created a beautiful blonde color that I absolutely love. She is very open and honest about what goals you’re achieving with the color you want. She was careful and cares for your hair which is something not many stylists take into consideration. The salon was very clean and beautifully designed. I highly recommend it!
