Shelton's Salon & Spa

This is my first time leaving a review for anything and I wish it could be a better one! I had my first appointment last December with Lisa at Shelton's and she was an hour late, but I know DC traffic is rough and she did a wonderful job with my hair and I was really happy with the quality of the service. So I decided to try them again. I made an appointment last week and today when I showed up the woman at the front desk said Lisa wasn't there yet. After waiting 15min I prompted "So do you know when she might be arriving?" And the response was "No. I'm not sure if she knows she has a client today. Hopefully she looked in the book". There was no follow-up or reassurance. So another 5min pass and I ask "Do you have a way to contact her to know if she's coming?" and the answer was "No. I don't have her number." So I wait a few more minutes and ask "Well, is there a way you could get her number?". So the woman at the front makes some calls and finally reaches Lisa, who apparently doesn't

Sheldon's Salon is a very wholesome and professional environment. All operators are very professional, demonstrate a knowledge of hair care and make recommendations to improve the quality of good health and hair care.

I have seen beautifully cut hairstyles on so many women done by Shelton - NOT MINEI My hair had more dips than Shenandoah Park and was as asymmetrical as a Picasso painting. Going through COVID with a sad, sad hair cut makes you remember there are so many things to be grateful for even if a cute haircut is not on the current list.
