L'Atelier Hair Braiding

I usually have a hard time to actually find a place for anything hair related for me. I have recently moved in Maryland been debating on getting braids and decided to try this place out yesterday. This place made me feel so comfortable. The staff was nice and professional. I felt at peace in this place. They were very clean with all their materials as well kept asking if I was ok as they were doing my box braids. I highly recommend this place for not only the quality of service they provide, but as well their prices are really reasonable and the best I have seen ever in Maryland.

I first came in for my daughter (6yrs): shampoo and cornrows, she was so happy about the service and the result. Then a few days after it was my turn (box braids), it was very affordable and it did not take long at all (about 4,5 hours for long box braids). The team is very professionnal, do not hesitate and push the door. Two visits and always the perfect cut. Great team, great hairstylists, warm welcome...i stongly recommend!

Disappointing experience overall. Went to get my locs twisted, and left unsatisfied. I went there thinking I would get a fait hair treatment and some guidance as I recently started on my locs journey. Upon entering the salon I explained my situation and naturally let the technician take control. The whole session was rough and felt unattended. After I paid and left, I could feel the locs untying on their own and some of them totally untie the following day. I know I have little experience with hair, but according to outside opinion,the job was poorly done and I can’t help but agree.
