L'Atelier Hair Braiding

I visited the salon today, they are really good at what they do. I got crotchet hair installations. My only problem is the lady who braided my cornrows was a bit tough but that might be because I’m tender headed. Another issue, I felt the salon would have been cleaner, but I think they were in the process of cleaning after I left, since my hair appointment was early in the morning. Update 7/23/22: Although everything that I said below is factual I also realized today that I usually go on Sundays which is pretty slow. Because I booked the appointment for a Saturday instead I showed up about 30 minutes early assuming they would be pretty busy and didn’t have time for delayed customers. I was told when I got there that the lady who would be doing my hair was finishing up and would be with me in a moment. Another customer walked in and as the lady who was supposed to be doing my hair began washing the customers hair, I was told to come back later so that someone else could do my braids. As I am scheduled to go out of town this evening, I won’t be going back today or again. 1- you should always be familiar with your regular customers. 2- You should never allow scheduled appointments to be bounced around ESPECIALLY since parking costs money Monday-Saturday. 3- Don’t over book yourself and expect your customers to be ok playing ring around the rosie when you can’t acco

I don’t ever leave reviews but this time I am. I went in to take my daughter to get her hair braided and the lady started to comb her hair dry. My daughter has gone to edge hair Salon for years and never have cried. I went to this place as a last min and I will never return. Although her hair was clean, she didn’t try to detangle it with some form of spray or something. She comb and pulled and was so ruff. My daughter was in tears and begged me to leave which she has never done before! Ever! I only went for two braids and left with sloppy braids on top of that I was nice enough to tip because she had to deal with a crying child. Never again! I will stick to edge hair salon which is literally right around the corner! Responding to owner response: I was never told to go with my daughter hair washed and dried. I was asked if she cries and my response was No because she has never cried. You mention cameras, I hope your camera has recording to where I insisted on leaving and the stylist ask
