Salon Kaytoure

My first appointment with Kayla went great. I have family members who recommended her so I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. The young lady who shampoo my hair was very very good. She scratched my scalp first and then washed it. Omg it was great and I have eczema on my scalp so that was the perfect way to take care of it. I also liked how she made sure my hair was de tangled during and after the wash. The steamer is amazing. My scalp felt so clean and refreshed. Once Kayla styled my hair she educated me on my hair and how to take care of it. She even recommended a oil she provides to help with my edges. My hair was so shiny at the end of the appointment. It wasn’t weighed down with products.This is the best my hair has looked Period. I do wish the appointment booking system was better however I think when I go for my next appointment in two weeks I will book in the salon with her to make sure I am doing it correctly. WORST EXPERIENCE EVERRRRRRRR. I am not the type to complain but I feel like I have to. I scheduled an appointment with Kaiyla Brown for 12:30 pm. Got there a couple minutes early out of respect for her time and to avoid paying her late fee. Guess the same wasn’t reciprocated. I walk in and the only thing she asked me was “12:30?” I said yes and she told me to have a seat. I’m waiting because there’s someone else in the chair. I’m thinking it’ll be another 15. I did not get into the chair till 1:47. No “sorry for the delay” or even an apology. Nothing. It was about 1:14 and I had to ask her how long till she would see me and she said another 15 minutes. (More like 30 minutes). THEN once I got into the dryer station, she started doing somebody else’s hair, meanwhile I was supposed to be done with my hair an hour ago. Things happen, but the least you could do is communicate. I then asked her, if I would be compensated for the 2 hour delay. At least she said yes. I had to cancel my lash ap

I absolutely love getting my hair done at Salon Kaytoure’. The salon itself is very clean, modern, classy, and relaxing. Kayla (the owner) is AMAZING!! I have been going to her for about 2 years. She is professional, courteous, on time, down to earth, and welcoming. She truly takes pride in her work and ensures each client leaves her chair looking beautiful and satisfied. My natural hair and weave installations are always on point, PERIOD!! I receive so many compliments on my hair. I highly recommend Salon Kaytoure’!! Thank you, Kayla! Forever a client!????
