I am so glad I found this place after trying out multiple hair salons in the area!! This is the only place I go to now for my haircuts and coloring. I absolutely love how my balayage turned out! The owner (Sarah) is an exceptional hair stylist. I am always pleased with the end result when she works on my hair. The assistant (Erika) is also great at what she does. Sarah, and the Oak Tree Hair Salon, are amazing! I've gone to Sarah for almost 10 years for the Japanese Straight Perm hair treatment, and I'm from Central PA. Coming to her salon is always worth the drive for her outstanding skill in the straight perm, cutting hair, and kindness. I'm Black and I have A LOT of hair - it's thick with loose curls. However, Sarah ensures my hair gets extremely straight each time. My hair has gotten straighter and easier to manage the more I've gone the straightener, and I can wait for 7mos to a year before returning to get the roots redone even though my hair grows super fast. It used to take ~2-3 hours for me to straighten/style my hair with a basic relaxer, but now it only takes ~30min -1 hours for at least 2-3 months, then about ~1-2 hours once my hair has grown out past 6". The care and customer service that Sarah and Erika share is really relaxing. I'm happy that I've been able to come to Oak Tree Hair Salon for so long - this review is long overdue!

I got an amazing hair cut from Sarah! My hair was very long and heavy coming in, and I asked for some length off, medium long curtain bangs, and long layers that would give me more volume and shape while still being low maintenance. I LOVE the end result--as you can see in the unstyled after pic (the one with the maroon sweater), Sarah's masterful skills gave me texture and volume I didn't even know my coarse, straight hair could have! She is great at working with Asian hair and clearly knows what she's doing. The price was reasonable, my cut was $55. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a haircut! Service: Haircut
