As a Black woman with curly hair and bad experiences at other salons… I had my reservations about going to a white woman to do my hair— but I really wanted vivid color and Laura put all my worries at ease. Not only is she AMAZING at doing vivids, but she knows her way around the curls and coils. You can tell she loves doing all types of hair and does her research to know how to best care for different hair textures. My curls took no damage and my color lasted for MONTHS and when it faded it still looked amazing. Also, Laura wants you to love your hair, if a color didn’t turn out how I envisioned it I just told her and she jumped right back on my curls to give me what I wanted. I love going to Fringe! The shop has a funky vibe and a relaxed atmosphere. Lolo cuts my hair and she always listens to my ideas while also making suggestions for cuts that are good for my hair texture and face shape. She challenges me (in the best ways) and strikes just the right balance to keep my cuts evolving with trends without making me look too trendy.

If you have curly hair - COME HERE! I came for a haircut and balayage refresh and Erin did a great job with my color, but the cut and style on my curls were SO GOOD that that’s all I could look at. Definitely coming back.
