Crys’Style THE SALON formally Salon XO

I arrived on time to my appointment at Salon XO and learned that there were three people in front of me. Crystal had not yet arrived to work and one person had already been waiting 1 1/2 hours. I was not inclined to wait so I asked the stylist who was present what the process was for getting a refund of my $50 deposit that is required to schedule an appointment. I'm told that there supposedly is a 30 minute "grace period policy," however the policy that is provided when scheduling online does not mention any sort of grace period. What's further baffling is that grace periods are for clients who are late to an appointment, not for the service provider. When Crystal arrives I request a refund and was told I won't be given one b/c of this "grace period policy" and that I could leave. I told her I was not made aware of any such policy when I booked but she made it clear she was not interested in having a professional conversation about the matter. I love the service of this salon. The location is great and in a well lit area for those late night hair appointments and to top it off, the salon is gorg. Crystal (the owner) is very friendly yet professional and her staff are very accommodating. I have not had a bad experience since going there. I recommend researching and knowing what you want then call the salon directly. Some services require a consultation first and pricing will be discussed at that time.

Not only was the stylist and owner rude and unfriendly, I was made to wait two hours after my appointment time for a 30 min seating. No maintenance or styling tips were provided. The cut itself actually left my ends in horrible shape! Service: Hairstyling
