Affordable Styles Hair Salon

This was my first time going here. It was a nice little salon and the people were nice. The most positive thing I can say about my hair was that the blow drying process was pretty much painless. This was done by another worker, not Consquilla. I was not told the price of my services (wash and press) until Consquilla had already started straightening my hair. The price was more than I expected ($65) after looking on the website and then she added $20 because my hair is thick (it's kind of thick but definitely not worth an extra $20) so $85 total. Once she was done, my hair was straight and it did look nice, but it definitely was not as straight as it usually gets with my other hair stylist. I assume it was a silk press but it definitely was not silky. When I got home I still had to use some force to get a comb through my hair which never happens after I get my hair done. The name of this business is a true testament to the service they provide! I stopped going to hair salons because of the range of disappointment I faced but I finally found a permanent salon. Upon entering the establishment, I was welcomed with a wonderful greeting which was great because I was very nervous entering a new salon with my hair looking awful. I want to commend the owner for being so accommodating! I accidentally booked an appointment for the following week but seeing how distraught I was, she squeezed me in and my service was quick. It took five minutes into the service for me to get completely comfortable. I received a treatment, a trim, and braids for a protective style. Its hard trusting salons as I have 4C hair but Tim did a marvelous job.This is the kind of service Ive been wanting for years, most stylist I have went to are not competent enough to style my hair without damaging it. I really enjoy getting my hair done there the environment is nice The Stylist is very professional. She did a full sew in weave with closure deep wave, a month ago and it is still beautiful and without maintenance done on the closure and I'm still satisfied with my hairstyle she is the best. I will continue getting my hair done there.
