Jen is a delight and very client-oriented. She’s brought the salon’s decor up to date so that it is bright yet calming and welcoming. The other stylists seem highly qualified and personality-wise a great fit for the salon. And I know it’s a small thing, but I really appreciate the automated appointment reminders. I recommend!! I have the great pleasure of being one of Jennifer Gill’s clients at Sydney’s Hair Salon in Sudbury. I am incredibly grateful to have found her! She is truly special. Not only is Jennifer is an absolutely phenomenal colorist, and stylist, she is an incredibly warm, caring, and positive person. Her talent to improve the way I feel leaving her salon is priceless and unique. She is so gifted in her understanding that her clients’ feeling beautiful is part of their looking beautiful, and she helps us achieve both. It has been well over a year since I made the leap from my previous upscale salon where I had been a loyal client for many years. While I loved my previous stylist, I became increasingly disappointed in the services and the salon overall. All of the staff were friendly, but the sinks were overbooked, the assistants were still learning and as a result, hit or miss. Clients with appointments scheduled ahead of mine, in addition to my own appointments, began to run later and later.

*Long post. Moral of story, see Jennifer to have the hair of your dreams and feel recharged.* I have had my haircut every type of salon, high to low end and everything in between. Typically, when I find a stylist with a high level skill set with impeccable customer service, the salon tends to be....pretentious. The price I pay to get good hair at those types of places is often times feeling disconnected from the stylist and not having an authentic experience. Not wanting to head to Boston for each hair appointment, I searched for a local place. I tried many. None offered good hair in a salon where I felt like I was a valued customer. And then.... I found Sydney's Hair Salon. Owner Jennifer Gill is not only a master hair stylist and colorist...she's a fabulous business owner with vision.
