Soma Salon and Spa AVEDA

I received a really awful haircut from Estefania a few weeks ago. She did not listen to what I wanted at all (Although we discussed before and I provided photos). When I was obviously unhappy with the haircut she straightened it and then when I went to pay they tried to charge me extra for it (although the front desk girl was kind and offered a discount on it). The salon gave me a full refund when I sent photos and called, but didn’t really make an effort to fix the haircut ( I was on a tight timeline so can’t fully blame them). Overall, it’s been a few weeks, and this haircut upsets me every time I look in the mirror. I really regret going to this salon. I’m completely embarrassed by these horrible layers. Extremely disappointed with my experience with Amanda. I was supposed to see Denice who I have gone to once before. No one called me to tell me Denice called in sick. I would of appreciated a call so I could make the decision to reschedule. Denice did a great job with my hair cut/ blow out and I was excited to get my roots done and a blow out by her. My hair is a lot darker now and you can’t see balayage as well, which needless to say I’m not happy about. This blow out is the worst blow out I have ever gotten. Amanda sent me on my way with my hair damp!

Such a great experience from the moment I walked through the door! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Estefania took her time during the consultation and could see immediately what I wasn’t happy about (lack of layers and wrong color tone for me) I have wavy hair and it can be difficult to cut it correctly. I liked it so much I booked for 2 weeks later for make up and updo for my nephews wedding. Conveniently located off the orange line in assembly Row Somerville. Garage parking is next door and free for first 3 hours Services: Haircut, Makeup services, Hairstyling
