Highest praise for Andy Tran! He’s been my stylist for 15+ years- I’ve followed him from a salon in Brookline to his own shop in Allston and now to Station Row in Newton - and I’ve referred untold friends and family to him as well. Andy always asks what I’d like before he begins each appointment- and truly wants his clients to be pleased with the results. He is wonderful stylist and a genuine, down to earth, lovely human being - and does a consistently excellent job with my hair.

Andy's been my stylist for nearly a decade (full foils, partial foils, haircuts, shampoos, blowdrys, etc) and I followed him to Station Row when he started his work there, too. Not only is his work fantastic, but his consultations are always on point -- his advice is always honest and he takes the time to really listen to what you want (even when you're not sure what you want!). I'd completely fried my hair a while back via my straightening iron and it was constantly breaking -- Andy gave me exactly the guidance I needed to bring my hair back and keep it healthy, and he continues to give me great advice since he's seen my hair transition back to a healthy state. Hopefully Andy never retires because I don't think I can trust anyone else with my hair! My experience at Station Row itself is always a positive one, too -- laid back, though professional, very kind, and I appreciate those text reminders about appointments!

I first came to Station Row several months ago after my stylist, Andy Tran, started working here. Andy has been my stylist for over a decade and I am always happy with his work. I usually get highlights, but he has also low-lighted my hair, has cut it, and also does a great blow dry. Highly recommended!
