spa nijoli & salon

I leaned over and strained my back last weekend - called Spa ni Joli to see if they had an availability for a massage and lucky me - they did! My technician was IAN! We chatted about where the pain was. Boy! Best massage I have EVER had! He concentrated on my back, glutes and thighs. He warned me this wasn't going to feel great, but it would help! After the massage was done he showed me some gentle stretches that would help my sciatica. I woke up the next day - completely pain free!!! I booked another appt for November with Ian but this one will be one to enjoy - hopefully :). THANK YOU IAN!!!

How in the world this place has 4.7 stars out of over 500 people I have no idea. Probably friends and family of the employees doing them favors. From scheduling appointments, to mani/pedis, hair cuts, spa treatments, waxing, even the payment when you're done, you name it, this place will find a way to mess it up. Every time I have gone there I said to myself "I could have done a better job or I look worse than when I came in" and I don't know anything about doing hair or nails. What happens when they do? "Come back and we can-." Or, you can just do the service right the first time so the person doesn't have to take time (and waste gas money) to come back. That's if the staff and owner even want to hear customer concerns in the first place. ???? There are a million and one better salons and spas in Massachusetts, go to one of them and save yourself the frustration and unprofessionalism of this place.

This salon is nothing but average with high prices. Management is a pickle to deal with and stylists no matter how many years are just average. The owner is unreasonable over complaints and gave someone a hard time. They scare easily and they can't handle constructive criticism. Look for another salon because you will see the difference.
