I really like how fast they were at the salon. I went to the shop to do cornrows showed the lady what I wanted ..got nothing like it! plus the hair was too tight, I had to take it out after two days. The lady did my hair complaining about the toughness of my hair although I had straighten it, complains about the length of my braids and she only had to do 6 cornrows . She ended up increasing the agreed price of braiding after my hair was done . What hurts me the most is that I had to take it off immediately and could not braid it for some weeks cause my scalp was soo bruised Service: Hair extensions
I used to like their services a lot. I love the owner of the store. I just feel like the ladies that are there doing the hair love to gossip. I know they are Nigerians (mostly Yorubas) but as a Nigerian lady who understands some Yoruba its so discouraging to hear the things they talk about (like oh you lost weight/oh you added weight/oh you look sad). All of that feels unneccessary and unprofessional. As for the pricing, these two ladies negotiate in Yoruba on what a price to give (so prices are not set). That feels like cheating. I also hate how they complain about how bad my hair is, with all the treatments I have used from them- I have not see any significant growth. I love the owner of this store, she does brows so well. I just wish they can make a valid price list that is displayed to the customers instead of creating prices in their heads to overprice. I do not think that is the way to go. This was my first time ever getting my hair professionally done. I got platinum box braids installed and I’m so in love with them. I felt so pampered and well taken care of. Mary did an amazing job and was very quick creating this beautiful look. I love going places and people asking me wherever I got my hair done because how amazing it looks.. this will definitely be my go to hair salon to get future services done at !! Service: Hairstyling
