Lux Salon Blends

It's always a treat to stop by Lux Salon Blends. Remy's been managing my hair for many years now, and I always leave with a smile on my face. It's a cute place, in a great neighborhood, so you can treat yourself to coffee, a bottle of wine, or a gourmet treat and spend the afternoon. Love it!

Remy at Lux Salon always takes such great care of me, as do all the girls there! They are so friendly, use great products, and are always making sure that I'm completely happy with my cut and/or color! Y'all are the best!

I have gotten my nails, waxing, haircut and hair products from Lux Salon for over 8 years. Erin is the owner and is personable and has created a warm and welcoming woman owner salon in a great area of Mid City called Bayou St. John. You can book online easily or call and make an appointment. They have good hours for people who work long hours and do not fit in the conventional 9-5 appointment spot. The staff is friendly and easy to talk with and there is always a sense of calmness when you enter their salon. It is a true neighborhood business where you greet others by their first names and feel as though you have known them for a long time. The location is walkable, bike friendly and easy to get there from the Canal streetcar or Esplanade bus. There is a wine and and coffee store on either side so for a special event you can have a toast while getting your nails or hair done. You won't leave there without booking your next appointment, I promise.
