After sending a message, I was contacted quickly to schedule the appointment. Everyone was friendly & courteous, making me feel comfortable at my first visit. The shampoo scalp massage was amazing! Brianna is a wonderful stylist, & I am extremely happy with my cut & style. Highly recommend this location!!!

I have been going for a few years to John Jay beauty salon on Allen Toussaint Blvd where I see Leslie D and she is incredible! I see Leslie D. on Robert E. Lee, and she is incredible!!! Leslie D. is always on time, she sits in the front greeting everyone (because she is the most friendly person at this salon), and yet she never makes me feel neglected, she is that good. My Mom also goes to the same salon and she treats my Mom just like a family member Leslie D. is a perfectionist when cutting and styling my hair, every strand of hair perfectly placed. And she goes out of her way to do extra touches to my hair (i.e., extra styling procedures, etc.). And the best assessment of how good a hairstylist really is, is when you get complements on your haircut, day, weeks, later. I always get complements, thanks to Leslie D. Excellent work. All the staff are very skilled. Love how natural my hair looks when I get it colored. The cut and style of my hair is always perfectly done.. John Jay is awesome with keeping me with a look that is good for me and is in style ...Classy work ..
