Very clean & beautiful, positive atmosphere. Laquanna does mine and my daughter's hair & her silk press are excellent!!!
I went for a silk press and to get my ends trim. I was there for about 2 hours and 30 minutes. She did not cut enough of my ends off so there were still a lot of split ends and my hair is dyed so it was obvious. I was faced away from the mirror so I could not see what was being done. I did not put any additional heat on my hair after. I washed my hair a week later and my curls have not come back. I don't know if the dryer was too high or the flat iron but I have very straight hair in the every front of my head and randomly throughout. Not only did I leave with unsatisfied with the trim, I also now have irreversible heat damage. I am natural and have been my whole life, if you love your curls I would not go here.
My son went to barber shop, I went to hair salon and then we ate dinner next door. We are from out-of-town and happened upon this location. The staff was friendly and down to earth. We had no wait time, it was between 11 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Left feeling connected and welcomed back.
