Making an appointment with Kellie M. was the best decision I have ever made for my hair. I spent many years doing my own hair color at home and I was mostly unhappy with my at home results. I went to other places like Great Clips many times and either hated my haircuts or just thought they were okay. Basically, I was so tired of not liking my hair, being stressed out about it and damaging it, that I decided to take my moms advice and go see her stylist (Kellie M. at Hamburg location - 2300 Sir Barton Way, Suite 125 Lexington, KY 40509). Kellie M. came highly recommended by my Mom. Kellie M. is very talented, kind, polite, friendly, professional, gentle and thorough. When I say, it’s the best haircut I have ever had, I mean it!! She is careful to not do anything drastic or anything you aren’t comfortable with. Absolutely terrible. Went in for a Carmel balayage lady was super nice and had a picture of exactly what I wanted. Came out with highlights for $350. Went back for a redo and just wanted a one color process. Show the picture of what color I wanted and she kept trying to talk me into different things when I knew what I wanted and picked her favorite color after it all. This is supposed to be a professional salon but instead it’s more like great clips. Had Vaseline slapped all over my face which I have never experience at a PROFESSIONAL salon before. Soemthing I would expect from great clips not at a place where I am paying over $300. She booked another client at the same time who was getting color. This caused her to rush, have me keep switching chair and stylist for different steps of hair process. DO NOT RECCOMMEND. couldn’t even get my money back after all of this.
