Salon Modern Classics

My husband travels for his job and I work remotely so I am able to be with him. Every time we are in a new city, finding a salon is usually not a very positive experience. Today was the exception. I had an appointment with Jenna. I have been unhappy with my gray hair that has been turning a dingy, yellow color....not any more. I have the gray hair I have always wanted. It is shiny, bright and the yellow is all gone. Jenna was wonderful, she listened to what I wanted and the result was better than I hoped for. Everyone in the salon made me feel welcome. Next time we are in KC, I will definitely call this salon to make an appointment with Jenna. Thank you for my awesome hair!!!

I started going to this Salon a little over year ago. I found them because they were on the news for collecting money for a good cause. I have not had a bad experience and I finally took my kids in too. Amanda has been an amazing stylist with my hair and now with my daughters hair. She listens to what we want and follows through. She has a great personality which is important to me when I have to spend an hour or so in a chair. Cooper did my other daughter's hair and he did great. He was very nice and took into consideration that she was scared about having too much cut off. After we left she was talking about wanting to come back for more haircuts. My first time here, and it was such a lovely experience. Just my speed: welcoming, comfortable and classy, the team made me feel right at home. Super smooth to book online, got a daytime appointment less than a week out. Tiffany gave me a warm welcome and was deftly working in walk-in appointments, plus bright me coffee. Mel provided both a great haircut and great conversation. I felt bad for not bringing any reference photos, but she was spot-on at interpreting my verbal description of the style I was after. Enjoyed my [less than an] hour in this stylist's chair, and I will happily return for future haircuts!
