Salon Mission and Day Spa

Went as a new client, 9/9 for gray coverage. Stylist, Janelle Johnson, told me should couldn’t match the color I had (which she had done at a different salon) and suggested I choose a different color. I showed her pictures of colors that I liked. An hour later, she came out with three bowls of colors…a couple of them suspect, but she told me not to worry, they wouldn’t appear on my hair like in the bowl. I should have got up and walked out. Instead I was there from 10:50-4:50 because she turned 1/3 of my hair an awful bright orange color. She was rude when I told her I couldn’t go to work like that and said I was insulting her hard work. She ended up calling me immature and crazy. I left in tears with wet hair. I was charged $140, but left word for the owner to call me. I reached out today and have heard nothing. Will tell everyone I know about my experience. I deserve a refund and an apology, but crickets. From the minute you walk in you feel welcome and special. From observation I feel like each hairdresser looks and listens to your individual needs and gives you their recommendations. I have been with Misty Kelly for several years and she has changed my life!! Salon Mission is truly a blessing!
