University Hair Stylist

University Hairstylists is a great salon on the campus of Notre Dame. I get my hair cut every few weeks by Danielle and she always does what I ask. The stylists are very consistent and welcoming. The shampoo after the cut is always my favorite part!

Amazing! Diana is so talented and very personable. She listens to what you are asking for, and she checks in to see how you are feeling about the cut. She also doesn’t judge you if you leave with a wet head to save a few dollars!

Revised review: Zak Emmons is a great hairstylist who is warm and inviting in conversation with his patrons :) there's a reason he's booked far into the week due to his skill and vibrant personality! Fully recommend service from him. Original review: Arrived 4 minutes late to my scheduled appointment because of a class, and the hairstylist had taken another random kid instead in my spot who had not been scheduled. When I came in and went to her, she fully ignored me until I confronted her 10 minutes later. Thought a previous cut was running late, so I patiently sat on the couch for a while, but nope. I planned to give her a nice tip as time compensation for being a bit late from the unexpected length of the class, but it unfortunately turned out like this with no communication whatsoever and a cold reply that she just took another customer. I also only needed a side trim that usually only took 15-20 minutes max in the past.
