Safari African Hair Braiding

I came here for a simple set of cornrows (to wear under a wig cap), and I was charged $80… she did a great job, but I do not feel the work was worth $80. A different morning, I called to schedule an appointment and was told to come in at 4. I called a little before 4 to confirm and notify her that I was on my way. I was asked come later and was told that I would have to wait due to someone else being in her chair. I showed up 20 minutes after my appointment time, and waited for about 25 minutes after. Eventually I had to leave due to prior obligations, so I feel there was no point in even scheduling an appointment. Very upset about wasting my time and unfortunately will not be using this overpriced and unprofessional service again.

I have 5 month old locs and I had called to see if they offered retwisting as a service. I was told it was going to cost $60. When I called she told me to call her the day before I wanted the appointment. When I called I spoke to a different person to changed both the time and the location of my appointment. The place was not clean or well taken care of. Old hair on the floor, a bucket of wet clips, and a dirty dryer seemed questionable to me. A different person from the multiple phone calls did my hair. She did a good job and my locs are tight. After she just had me write down what I thought she deserved and I paid her that in cash. Interesting experience. Would go back if I had to but, not likely to return.

She did a good job braiding my hair. I was pleased with it. She was professional and polite. I will be returning to get my hair done again.
