Cecilia African Hair Braiding

I can French braid myself and I can catch hair that is an inch long my daughter washed her hair and went to this woman’s home where she conducts her braiding business and she told her that her hair was to short which was a lie because as I said I can braid her hair myself I just didn’t have the time. We live 30 minutes from this woman in Columbia City IN. When my daughter arrived she had another client whom she had called and said that they were late at the time of my daughter’s arrival she was only half-way done with the late clients head. Waste of gas and time on top of her lie that her hair was to short!

I called to book my appointment. I was told that I would receive a text with the address. I didn’t get the text until 2 days later…after I inquired about my appointment. Obvious ???? but I proceeded anyway against my better judgment. So I arrive to my appointment and she is not there. I was let in by her mother and told to have a seat in the chair. As her mother began to braid my hair, the stylist arrived. I was told that because my hair was short, I would be have to pay $220 for small braids…I said that’s fine and she proceeded to do my hair. About 5 hours later another customer arrives and she gets up and starts on their hair. I’m shocked because she’s done putting braids in my hair, but they still have to be braided to the ends. Her mother steps in and braids them down. She then says that I’m almost done and I only needed my ends dipped. I asked her if she was going to clean up the braids by trimming the fly away hair. She said the hair would lay down after she puts mousse on the b

I gave a difficult explanation on how I wanted my box braids and these ladies got it perfectly! Very sweet and hardworking. I will definitely be back when it’s time to redo mine. I’m recommending this place to everyone! ❤️ Services: Braids, Hair extensions
