I got a buccal facial massage from Hazel. It’s a vigorous and thorough face massage that left my face feeling at once deeply relaxed (down to the jaw muscles!) and softened, as well as invigorated. I'm shocked. I came here a long time ago when I was still at IU and had such a lovely experience, and was excited to come back to get my hair done for my wedding. My consultation was set for 2:45pm, and Stephanie, my stylist, showed up 3:15. She apologised for being half an hour late, but the pleasantries ended there. I tried to make small talk and ask where she'd driven in from, thinking maybe she lived north or south of town (hence why she might've been late) but she just stared at me rudely like I was speaking another language. Eventually she told me that she'd been at an appointment herself. It only got worse from there. Apparently the receptionist I spoke with when I booked my appointment didn't give Stephanie any of my information, and so she was incredibly taken aback when I mentioned I had henna a couple of years ago. She informed me quite aggressively that she prefers to avoid woking on anyone who has ever had henna. She then became borderline hostile when I mentioned getting
