French Nail Spa

I came in with my Mom a few days ago. She has been helping me since I’ve been having a rough time financially since graduating. My Mom was nice enough to pay for our manicure and pedicure together and we barely get to see each other. It’s her way of saying “I love you”. While she was paying, the older lady who works at French Nail Spa, in the most childish, condescendingly-joking, and sarcastic tone possible, says “Mommy pay for everything!” with a smile on her face. I froze because I didn’t know how to respond because of the overwhelming feeling of humiliation and shame. Why did you say this to a paying customer you know nothing about? How can you say something so horribly rude and hurtful to someone that you imply they don’t deserve to be gifted a moment with their mom at your business? We were nothing but respectful to you. From the first moment I walked in, I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness along with friendly accompaniment. I’ve been here twice and both times Jackie did my nails.
