My friend had a horrible terrible experience here with Ashley. She cried for 5 hours after. She asked for grey ombre and got warm toned blonde in her jet black hair. It’s four different colors, she looks like a tiger. She was so upset and without shame they charged her $240 for a hair color she did NOT want. And on top of it they told her that it did not work because of her hair!!!! This is a hair salon you must know how to treat all hair types (it shouldn’t have mattered that her hair had henna from 3 years ago, which she also cut off; not a good excuse for lack of skill). On top of all of that, she had the audacity to give my friend terrible attitude. I pray for the next person that walks through those doors. I do not recommend, I feel so bad for my friend.If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

I am a physician who lives in Chicago but works in the NW suburbs. I switched to Preferred after trying multiple high-end salons in the city. This salon has the same quality without the hassle I seemed to run into with other salons. My stylist Michelle absolutely listens to my desires, and I do, in fact, rave about my hair every time I leave this salon! What's great is that I have had my hair done by almost every stylist there when in a pinch and I have always felt I received the same level of attention and high quality end-result. I have never once had to redo my hair after leaving here!!! Kristen does my nails and I will never go to anyone else for my mani/pedis anymore. Toni, the owner, has built the kind of salon you really don't want to leave when your services are finished. Without fail, I fall in to conversation with the persons around me and have always enjoyed my conversations with Toni - she is sensitive, caring, and always puts a smile on your face. Jose did a fantastic job on my updo! I was in town for a friend's wedding and in need of an updo but hesitant to go to a salon I had never been before. Jose did an amazing job on my fine short hair updo which made me look like I had fuller longer hair. Thank you Jose and PH Salon for getting me in so quickly and making me feel beautiful!
