Lucette is a very special place. Even though I am only in Rockford twice a year, I make sure to schedule a cut and color (and sometimes spa services) before I arrive. The service quality is excellent - as good or better than I’ve experienced in any major city. But I especially love how thoughtful, kind, and welcoming the business and the team are. The small shop In front always draws me in with lovely little things and unexpected books and tools to make your life better. It’s clear that this place is grounded in strong values and that they are living those values every day. Lucette is small, but it’s wonderful. I’ve been going to Lucette for years and the service is always wonderful. It is such a warm, friendly environment and all of the staff make me feel welcome every time. Megan usually cuts my hair and does my highlights and is very talented. She listens very closely and always has me leaving with a haircut that makes me feel confident. I always leave Lucette in an excellent mood.

I have been a client of Lucette for 4 years! I love their team approach with clients; everyone working together can provide consistent services. I have for the last few years been working with Megan. I love Megan and I will set hair care goals. She does a phenomenal job educating on me on the options to reach our goals. Currently, I have decided to go through a color and style shift which has been a longer process. I love our sessions work towards those changes in subtle ways to make adjustments as needed. It isn’t the dramatic before and after and this is what I very much appreciate about my appointments with Megan; I get to see how the color and cut works for me. I enjoy the attentive, personal approach without judgment and intimidation I have felt at other salons. I feel worthy of the detailed care I received every time.
