We had a great experience the first time! We scheduled our next appointment and the salon was closed when we arrived at the previously agreed on day/time. Because we drove an hour to get there, we called and emailed all the contacts we had and no response. We waited outside for an hour and no one showed up! I gave them a pass and a few months later booked a virtual loc consultation. They did not send the link for the video call like they promised. I called before the start time to request the link but they said we still had time and will send it in time for the meeting. The scheduled time arrived and no link was sent!! I called and at 17mins past the appointment time, I finally got the link. I promptly joined the video call and no one was available. After 25 mins past the appointment time, they had someone show up but she was doing someone else’s hair while on the call! She didn’t take her time to look at my daughter’s hair or ask questions! What’s the point of the entire consultation?
My daughter scheduled an appointment for my granddaughter, who is artistic and they were made aware of her condition before hand. The service my daughter and granddaughter received was unacceptable, this shop does not have experienced dealing with Autistic child. My granddaughter and my daughter were treated so poorly and the service we received was unsatisfactory, were so upset that we left and paid for the poor service. Once we got half way down the block the manager chased us down to apologize and tried to justify the reason for the poor service we received.., 12/7/2023 My Response My daughter received a phone call from the manager, of this establishment and she said that we’re no longer welcome here. My response to her decision. Your shop needs to learn how to work with children with Autism and then you’ll fully understand why, my granddaughter hair was matted, .secondly my daughter is on fix income and that’s why she can’t come to the shop on a consistent basis and furthermore I p
Great place. I learn just from watching the artists do their work. They make the kids feel comfortable and confident. I like that they've recognized a need in our community and are providing a service to meet that need. Crystal braided my son's hair and he seemed comfortable through the detangle and braiding process. He loved his hair after!!! Also, there are great stores, coffee shops, food places steps away for parents who's kids can sit by themselves.
