Roots Hair Salon

I went to Roots Hair Salon Yesterday and had a wonderful haircut with Theresa. She was attentive and asked questions regarding my desired hair style. This was the only hair salon I have been to in Chicago where I did not feel like the stylist rushed my haircut. I noticed other stylists being very attentive with their clients as well and not rushing their services, which is a rarity.

The owner opened up the store for me on a Sunday and personally did my cut and color herself. We chatted about cooking and family and she slayed my color. I went from a yellowing, grown out bleach blonde with damage, to a warm light brown that will allow me to grown my hair out. She really took her time highlighting my roots before applying the toner so it would blend nicely with my natural color. And spent lots of time perfecting the cut. On top of the amazing service, she gave me a fantastic price, and even a discount on some Aveda shampoo and conditioner which has already made my hair feel so much healthier. I havent been to the same salon twice since ive moved to chicago, but after going to Roots, I won't go anywhere else from now on.

I have been going to Roots for the last 5 years. This is the first place I've gone where stylists really listen! I have never had such consistent great service! The salon is clean and everyone is very professional. I usually see Kariman, but I've worked with other stylists as well.
