I appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the stylist that we went to today. Tashownna was great. We were able to book the day before when I called, and she was very kind and attentive. My daughter's hair turned out perfect and she was very happy. She got a silk press with her ends trimmed. We will definitely be going back

After wearing my hair in braids for two years I decided to take a break. I knew I didn’t want a relaxer . I goggled natural hair services in my area and I came across Chicago Silk Press. I looked at all the pictures and I decided to make a appointment. Long story short this place is a hidden gem. Ms T and her assistant are the best. I haven't had a consistent beautician since b4 COVID, but not for lack of trying. As a first-time client, I was very pleased with the entire process. Booking was simple. I had a couple of pre-appointment questions and Tashownna was quick to respond. On the day of my service I received a thorough, relaxing wash. ???? Just before the styling process Tashownna asked me questions abt my haircare. I aprreciated her attentiveness to my answers and her knowledgeable haircare suggestions for my hair type. She got me in & out & I've gotten nothing but compliments on hair since I left the shop. I definitely plan to return & suggest you check her out! Oh I got a silk press. ????
