I've had haircuts here several times over the past 1.5 years and it's time to find a new salon. The staff here is friendly and the prices are reasonable. The problem is I've had trouble finding someone here who knows how to cut curls. I've gone home a few times now pretty bummed about how my curls have been totally jacked up. This last time they got cut too short and against the curl pattern and it's going to take at least a few weeks to grow out properly. It's time to find someone in town who knows how to work with thick curly hair. So my fellow curly girls, I don't advise going to this place. Service: Curly hair

I went in for a consult and was told the style I wanted was doable and was booked for two weeks later. Fast forward to the day of my appointment and I receive a call saying the estimate for the appointment will be significantly more than priced during my consult. I confirm I'm still interested in keeping my appointment. An hour later I receive another call to the affect that they are cancelling my appointment about an HOUR before it is supposed to begin because they don't think they can achieve the style I want. This completely wasted my time. I had already requested to use a day of paid leave to accommodate this appointment which was essentially wasted since they cancelled literally at the last hour. If I had received even one or two days prior notice of cancellation during the two weeks I had this appointment booked I could've saved that day of PL. I had a consultation appointment here about a month ago and held back on posting my negative experience to give them a chance to respond to my e-mail regarding it. Their lack of response goes to show that they don't care enough about their client’s well-being, which is why I'll have to get my hair straightening treatment done at another salon. I felt uncomfortable the second I came in the door here due to their dog being in the waiting area and my reason for that was affirmed not too long after when their dog jumped at me, which frightened me that I had to exit the salon. Luckily for them, I ended up coming back in since my appointment was just a consultation and due to being a newbie to hair salons, but I would have went back to my car and cancelled if my appointment wasn't a consultation or I had more salon experience.
