I planned an appointment for my son and me 3 days in advanced. Even called the day of 3 hours earlier to confirm. We arrive and have 3 heads ahead of us. Ok. Then we sit down and wait...20 minutes later she (Dove) asked to speak with me just to tell me she could not braid my hair. I just had it done by a neighbor 3 weeks prior. Essentially a planned appointment and a combined roundtrip of 40 miles just to be told no. Another stylist said she could do it...just not today.Clients time is of no consequence. I support black business, but we were made to feel like an afterthought, regardless of keeping our end by showing up! They didn't mind over $160 dollars walking out the door, and neither did I.
