Fringe Salon and Beauty Lounge

This is such a welcoming salon. The stylists are attentive, have great suggestions and I'm always really happy with my hair when I walk out of the door. It isn't a large salon, which makes it more welcoming and relaxing, and it's nicely laid out.

I came in requesting a long inverted bob and provided a picture of the look I was going for. The stylist washed and cut my hair then dried and styled it. She didn’t offer to show me the back (I should have asked). It looked nice when I left (after she curled it) but when I got home and washed, dried and straightened it I was left with hair sticking out at the back of my neck (no matter what I did) inconsistent lines, and a short layer high at the back of my head and inches of hair that she missed that laid on top of the actual cut. I called for a refund but (according to the stylist) their policy is that they provide free corrections and no refunds. I had already had it corrected at a different salon. See attached pictures.

I'm in town visiting family and needed a haircut badly. I found Fringe on Yelp and decided to check it out, and I'm so glad I did! I just went in for a trim, but Ashley did am amazing job! She really listened to what I wanted, took her time, and was incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to during my appointment. For $35 she washed my hair, cut it, dried it and styled it. I've had some down right awful experiences in salons in the past, so I'm always a little nervous before getting my hair done. I told Ashley this, and not only was she was super nice about it, but the quality of her work settled all of my fears. If I lived here she would be my go to person, hands down. I'm gonna have to save all of my haircuts for when I come to visit my family!
