I experienced the worst hair cut here. Asked for the simplest straight haircut, and i received a wave-shaped haircut, while two sides of my hair are not even, and every one sees me realizes that????‍♀️never go there again!

I’ve been here around 10-15 times and can confidently say it’s a 50/50 shot that she gets your haircut correct. I have constantly left with uneven sides or with the completely wrong haircut. When you are looking for a haircut YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, but this is beyond disastrous. I question if I could give myself a better haircut than the lady could give to me.

Heard art is on the corner of Lynn and Court Street. The lady has been cutting hair for 25 years in this location and has survived a tornado. Cash only. 9.99. You can’t even get a drink for 995 and downtown Iowa city anymore. Iowa city has the most ridiculously inflated prices of anywhere. I mean it’s still Iowa after all. But this place has kept the same price for 25 years. nothing fancy but I was in and out in 13 minutes flat and it was literally 995. I gave her a $20 bill and tipped her the other 10. Well worth it and still the best deal around for a haircut.
