My friend recommended Kelsey after I paid an absurd amount of money to get my hair done elsewhere ($430). I felt that I was taken advantage of at the other salon as I knew nothing about hair and even after the amount of money I spent, I left dissatisfied. Kelsey was super flexible with her schedule, which is a bonus as I work a 9-5 job and live an hour away from Shear Happenings. I was very nervous about getting my hair done again after having a bad experience at another salon. I arrived to my appointment and was greeted by Kelsey. I typically hate talking to anyone while getting my hair done as I always find it super awkward trying to keep a conversation but Kelsey is so easy to talk too. I talked to Kelsey about what I wanted to get done, which was originally a black to purple ombré. She gave suggestions on how to tweak the hair color. Specifically not to do black but a very dark brown as I have a very pale complexion and did not want to look ghost-like with winter coming among other
