I went in for a detox cleanse, trim, and silk press! My stylist Kiara was amazing!!! The salon was clean and decorated beautifully! The customer service was top tier. I would highly recommend booking with them. They also have very good prices! I’m excited to book with them again.

OMG! What a great salon experience. I know we all have our stories of bad experiences with black hair salons. Perfect Distraction had NONE of this. From scheduling my appointment, to arrival, styling and leaving, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Jamilah (Jay) Scott was my stylist. I came for a drastic trim/cut after wearing braids for most of the pandemic, and not having a trim in over a year. My appt was at 3pm and I was in her chair at 3pm. She was extremely professional, listened to what was needed, and took great care of my hair. I was in and out in an hour (just a blow out and a cut) and I loved the way my hair looks. Its much healthier and she cut it to shape. Update: I’ve gone back to this salon a FEW times and each experience is just as great as the first. Really enjoy this shop, the workers and experience they provide.
