Curly girls beware! My healthy curly hair is now over-processed, dry brittle and breaking off. My hair looks absolutely nothing like what I was wanting and now I have to spend another couple hundred dollars to go somewhere else and have it fixed. A lot of tears have been shed and I have learned a very important lesson. I will never go to a stylist that doesn’t work on curly hair on a regular basis. PSA to ALL stylists… if you don’t know how to do something that’s OK but don’t pretend like you do and then turn around and do what you want to do. This review is just for a pick-up of some products I ordered, but I love Van Michael. IMO they have the best hair stylists and colorists in the metro area. They also have Aveda products and put them on sale every few months, which is so awesome! From what I understand, they also treat their employees well, which is such a great thing and it reflects in their service. They’re definitely not the cheapest place to go, but worth it if you want a good salon experience!
