I booked an appointment at Mint on the Avenue when I first moved to Orlando two years ago and I have been going there ever since! I have only ever received the best service and always feel beautiful and happy when I leave the salon. Vanessa is such a kind and warm person, and an amazing stylist! While I would give their quality of work a 5 star, the conflict resolution by Vanessa (owner) was a 1. My Maid of Honor and I set appointments, we get to the day of, call to let them know we are there but trying to find parking, and are notified that are appointments have been cancelled. This is due to "a text message being received that we would like to cancel", and this text message came from neither mine or my Maid of Honors phone numbers. While we got little to no chance to explain the situation, Vanessa went straight into explaining how this was our faults. My Maid of Honor confirmed while making the appointment what the correct phone numbers were, how they ended up wrong in their system is not our faults. I would have accepted a misunderstanding, but to blame us straight up for a clear fault in the "strict system" held for their scheduling is wrong. While I absolutely recommend that the stylists there are so amazing and you will not be disappointed with that aspect, don't expect
