Christopher Stephens Salon

Was excited to get a Ouidad haircut before my new job. Booked it weeks in advance. I'm a working mom so I can only do Saturdays. Steven called, day of, saying he needed to reschedule. Ok, fine. Things happen. We rescheduled for the following week. He cancelled on me, day of, again. I get the feeling Steven just doesn't want to work on Saturdays. I can't really wait around until he decides to honor his appointments so I will have to go elsewhere.

I go to the salon every week for shampoo and blow dry, and once a month for hair color, hydration and haircut when needed. I’ve worked with two of their stylists and each one has her own style as it should be — they are true artists. Every single stylist, there is unerringly, polite and professional and naturally friendly. The owners do not train the stylests but I do think that they train the stylests to interact with client in the same way. Everyone is polite. Everyone remembers your name. All the stylists are well dressed, very well spoken and good conversationalists, and quite attentive to any need for a bottle of water or a cup of coffee. No one is ever rushed or ignored, and there’s none of that overly chatty interaction by the employees, it’s a very soothing environment. I believe that the salon is the best thought out and laid out salon I have ever been in and I’ve lived in over 11 countries, South America, North America, and Europe. I made an appointment for a haircut (no blowdry) during my lunch break on a Friday. The salon was nice and clean with lots of cute touches/decor. Jackie took care of me - she was sweet and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Even though I was ready to cut off all my hair, she showed me the length of the first cut to make sure that it was still ok with me. It was a quick appointment, however, it did not feel rushed at all! I'd see her again ???? Service: Haircut
