Chevy is amazing! She is a talented stylist who truly cares about the health of your hair. I've been coming to Chevy since 2017, mostly for protective styling, including crochet and updos. I always get compliments on her styles. She also did my big chop and has been my secret weapon in keeping my 4c hair healthy as I grow it out. Trims and treatments with her have also left my hair healthy. She also simplifies natural hair care by giving tips and recommendations on caring for my hair kinky, coily hair at home and in between visits. She's very professional, sweet, and knowledgeable. Booking an appointment with her is super easy and she always responsive to questions. She truly cares that her clients have a great experience and are happy with the end result. I've recommend several friends go to her. Truly a gem!

Okay, can I just say that this was the best service for hair I’ve ever received?! No, not natural hair service, I’m talking hair period! Chevelle, or Chevy as she likes to go by, was soooo awesome! I booked with her for my birthday (this past Wednesday) for some well needed maintenance, and in the early morningtime! Although I came prepared with my own cup of coffee, Chevy was ready and willing to fix me a cup (how sweet)! For my appointment, I was in for a trim/cut, detox, wash.. basically the works, and that’s exactly what I received. I’ll be honest and say, I’m not much of a talker, especially in the morning but my time spent with Chevy felt like I had known her. She was so easy to talk to and definitely made it feel like a friend of mine was doing my hair instead of a complete stranger. Not only is she a sweetheart, she is very knowledgeable about natural hair. Definitely not just somebody who chose to dive into this, talk about different hair textures (the 3b-4s talk) and call it

Book with her, immediately. I had a lifetime of bad experiences at salons to overcome in even scheduling the appointment. I was hopeful it would be good, but was resolved that hair will grow no matter what. Chevy single-handedly changed my mind. It's the first haircut that I have actually loved.
