The Backroom Salon

I have long hair and was wary because some people don’t know how to handle that and are quick to chop it off. Deborah was great and listened well, taking less off than I asked before the final cut. I will definitely be back for my next haircut!

The young lady that had cut my hair for 5+ years recently relocated. I began looking into different salons to find that special salon again. I read the reviews on the Back Room Salon and decided to give them a try. I walked in, without an appointment, and was pleasantly surprised that they took me right in. Miss Noelle was wonderful and I was treated as if we had been friends for years. Miss Noelle did a fantastic job, listening to what I wanted and she came through. I have found my new special salon. Noelle gave me the worst cut and color I have EVER had. I came in with a picture of what I wanted. It was brown hair with purple highlights and the cut was a long bob. She complained that it was not the balayage I made the appt for but she would make it work. Side note: I tried to call and change what the appt was for, but no one ever answers the business phone. I should have left right then. She dyed my hair BLACK and washed in purple over a few highlights (I did not know she was just washing the color in). The hair cut is so blunt and uneven. It is a disaster. When I told her I did not like it, she rudely told me that I asked her to dye my hair that color, and that I obviously don't know what a long bob is supposed to look like To add to the horrible experience, she gave me the rest of the very small container purple shampoo. The lid leaked out all over my bag and ruined it. The next day I text her that I still hated it and that I don't want to go back to her to try and fix it. I ask
