Alicia at AJ ProStyles was absolutely incredible! First off, I had some personal issues/complications going on right before my appointment and she worked with me and made my day so much better. My visit was for a styling for a wedding. I had sent her a few pictures beforehand with some ideas I was looking for. She more than came through. I had beautiful curls and a half updo that stayed perfect all night through dancing! I unfortunately didn’t get any pictures of the back. 10/10 recommended! Service: Hairstyling

I haven’t had my hair cut in years because of a past bad experience at a random salon I went to, I also just love my hair long so didn’t feel the need to get it done. But after my sisters and mom telling me about Alicia and seeing how amazing their hair looked after going I finally gave in. The environment of this salon is just so amazing and so different than anywhere I’ve ever been and Alicia is literally the most friendly person you will ever meet, and just made me feel comfortable right off the bat. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted but after her listening to me try to explain it and showing a random picture off the internet, she just knew what my hair needed to make it healthier, and to help best frame my face! I’m obsessed with how my hair turned out and couldn't believe I waited so long! Alicia has changed my perspective completely on how salons should be, and I will be going back 100%! This looks like a nice building when you walk in but don't be fooled. The first time I came in, as soon as I turned a corner I almost fell over a child that was running through the hallway. I went to my appt which is usually my time to relax and have my beauty services done, but even with headphones on all I could hear was a child screaming and crying. When my beauty service technician ( will not mention her name out of respect) asked her neighbor to please close her door so the cries of the babies would be lessened the neighbor refused. She has explained to me that her property manager has refused to do anything about the noise. Some people just want to relax and enjoy their service in peace and quiet. I feel bad for my technician because I feel uncomfortable coming anymore. I hope she can leave this place soon. If you want to feel like you're in a Bronx barber shop then come to this place!
