Lora is a true professional who not only does an incredible job styling my hair, but is also invested in the health of my hair. She is very pleasant to interact with and makes getting my hair done a very relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend Changing Lives Hair Salon. Lora did my hair and she did a good job, however I arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment and she said “I will be right with you” and then proceeded to make me wait for 45 mins while she did someone else’s hair. It was at the end of the day as well. Probably won’t be coming back here, additionally she doesn’t talk much while doing your hair and gives you 1 word answers every time you try to spark a conversation.

I started coming here during the summer for plaits, but found out they offered locs services. So I had my sons locs retwisted here. Cleo did a very good job but is longer there. Nonetheless, Lora the owner I’ve watched do all kinds of hair and styles. She’s amazing. I now go regularly to have my blowouts done by Nora (front desk assistant). My hair has grown and become so healthy since she’s been doing it. She’s so sweet and we always have genuine conversations when I’m in her chair.
