Sky Dominican Salon

This is the first Dominican Salon I've gone to that ACTUALLY listened and delivered exactly what I wanted. I asked for a cut with a lot of layers (I have fine curly hair, and layers give me that full look I love), and a caramel balayage. I also let Nelly know that my hair was virgin and that I wore it curly all the time, so she made sure to use a low volume developer. Its been almost 2 months, and I'm still getting compliments on my hair. I love the cut, I love the color, and I love that my curl pattern remained the same after the coloring process. The ladies there are also very friendly and funny, and Tuti's coffee is bomb! I will be returning for a haircut/color touch-up, when the time comes. Services: Haircut, Balayage

This is one of those situations that I wish I could rate zero so I can give them a one because that’s the only thing that I can give… If you are of Afro dissent and would like to keep the natural curl pattern of your hair and you’re looking to get a silk press and a haircut I do not recommend that you come here. In 2021 of October I came to the salon, looking to get a silkpress and. While I was sitting with a treatment that they recommended because my hair was dry ice I low-key thought that I smell a relaxer very faintly. I had to cut all of my hair off one year later, after trying relentlessly to bring my curls back. Not only have, they turned me off from getting a silkpress from a professional I will not go to get a haircut either.

I called to do a walk in and was told that it was only by appointments today so I asked if there were any times available and after they gave the phone to a 3rd person I was told yes they have an appointment available for 445pm. I got there at 440pm and at 615 I walked out looking like this because for an hour after getting my hair washed I sat in a chair waiting for my hair to be done with no update from anyone in the salon about why I was just sitting there waiting. They finally my hair was started to be blow dried and after doing the piece that’s straight in my picture the stylist WALKED AWAY WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING and was walking around talking and doing what she pleased without a word to me. They literally started to clean and Clint money to close the salon while I sat in a chair watching. I got up and left, I will NEVER use here again.
