Lavish Nail Bar

I never write reviews, in fact, this is the first one I’ve ever wrote. But the nails I went home with were so bad that I felt the need to. I got a polish change on my toes and all was well. The color was what I wanted and it was neat. The problem was my hands. First of all, the application is just terrible. There’s bumps everywhere, the coats weren’t evenly applied so parts of my nails look pure white while the rest of it is opaque. The application was also extremely messy. There is polish on the sides and cuticles of my nails, it looks like I painted them myself. The shapes are off. Some of my nails have sharp edges and others have rounded edges. They were filed slanted. And while they were being shaped, she filed the sides of nails so roughly and excessively that my skin is exposed. Also, I had let my nail tech (Jennifer) know that there was a hair in my nail as soon as I noticed (while she was still applying another coat). I went here a few times before taking the decision to write this review, There are many other nail places that will give you a better and durable service. Difficult communication with the staff. Some do their job to the minimum standards and when you address it, they get mad and stick to a policy of not fixing the issue. I understand that those that write great reviews are clients that have set a relationship with a particular employee and that is completely fine. However, I will definitely not recommend for new clients.

I went on a Saturday afternoon for dipped nails and they did not disappoint! The technician did a great job. He made sure to trim my cuticles and did a great job shaping my nails the way I wanted. I think I’ve finally found my new nail spot!
