Dianne's Impressions Salon

I went to the salon for the first time in February to get hilights. I was nervous because I had never colored my hair before. Nurys did an amazing job, she got the perfect color and gave me a natural looking, sun kissed look and a great layers to go with the look. I was very satisfied with the service and quality of work.

I've never written a review, but this was worth one. Overall, friendly environment. No one was rude or nasty. However, the actual service of my manicure/pedicure was terrible. I initially asked for gel but was told it was bad for my nails. Cuticles were terribly cut. All my nails are different lengths. My thumb nail is not fully painted. I was on my lunch break so I didn't have time to do it all over again. Was NOT worth what I paid for.

I get the stereotypical salon or barber shop atmosphere is about people just speaking loudly about their personal lives or topics ... but I think there has to be a line drawn at some point , bc some women go to the salon for pampering and “relaxation” not to hear about the receptionist’s man problems. The hair cut and blow out I have to say was done quite nicely not going to disregard that. It was just the unprofessional and loud atmosphere , the complete lack of greeting when I arrived by the woman at the counter, not sure her name, Thalia? light pink sunglasses on her head. Even the way I was initially greeted by the stylist was not very welcoming .. I’m a new client you would think it would have been different. Funny how both the receptionist and hair stylist were so cold and lacked any sort of greeting or conversation when I arrived but were just gossiping away loudly about men while I was getting my hair done (things I don’t need to hear).
