I found Salon Above by Liza because I was searching for a stylist who specialized in blondes and I am SO glad I found Liza! I had platinum blonde hair with over A FOOT of dark ish brown roots showing (it had been about 2 years since I had it done). I scheduled a consultation with Liza so that she could see how much work my hair would need and she was very honest about how long the procedure would take, the cost, and the upkeep! She didn't give me false expectations and she understood EXACTLY what I wanted: bright white platinum hair! I made my appointment, but I was not expecting to leave her salon fully platinum after just one session. The reason I wanted a specialist is because icy white is a hard color to achieve with my naturally dark ish hair and I thought it would take 2 sessions of bleach to lift my hair to platinum (especially since my roots were so long), but Liza is a bleach magician!!! Liza listened to what I was unhappy with about with my hair and knew exactly what to do. She toned down the red and added blonde highlights. I have thick but fine wavy hair which is difficult to manage without the tight cut. She gave me the perfect cut. I love my hair color and style now! I’m so happy I made the change to Salon Above.
